I want to remind you that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us with an everlasting love.

 I want to remind you that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us with an everlasting love. 

His love is so great that He gives us chances to come back to Him and get right with Him even when we fall away from Him.

The parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32 teaches us about the love and forgiveness of our Heavenly Father. The younger son in the parable asked for his share of the inheritance and went to a far country where he wasted all his possessions with prodigal living. But when he came to his senses, he decided to go back to his father and confess his sins. He said, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants."

What is striking about the parable is that the father did not hold a grudge against his son. Instead, he ran to meet him, embraced him, and threw a big feast for him. The father's response to his son's return shows us the kind of love and forgiveness that our Heavenly Father has for us when we turn to Him.

Backsliding can happen to anyone, including us. We may fall into sin, make wrong choices, or lose our way. But our Heavenly Father is always waiting for us to come back to Him. He gives us opportunities to repent and turn away from our sins. It is up to us to take advantage of these opportunities and return to Him.

Therefore, if you ever find yourself backsliding, do not hesitate to turn to God and repent of your sins. Ask for forgiveness and seek His guidance. Remember that our Heavenly Father loves us unconditionally and desires to have a relationship with us. Let us not take this love for granted and make use of the opportunity that God gives us to return to Him.

In conclusion, I encourage you to hold on to the love and forgiveness of our Heavenly Father. Let us not be discouraged by our mistakes but turn to God and ask for His grace and mercy. May we always remember that our Heavenly Father loves us with an everlasting love and is always waiting for us to come back to Him.
