Arise, shine; For your light has come!

 Arise, shine; For your light has come! 

And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. These words from the book of Isaiah are a call to action for all believers. They remind us that in times of darkness and uncertainty, it is our duty to share the light of the Gospel with those around us.

The world we live in today is plagued by fear, doubt, and darkness. Many people are struggling to find hope and meaning in their lives. They are searching for something to hold onto, something that can give them strength and comfort in the midst of chaos and confusion.

As believers, we have the answer they are looking for. We have the message of hope and salvation in Jesus Christ. It is our responsibility to share this message with others and help them find their way out of the darkness.

The passage continues: "For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and HIS glory will be seen upon you." This is a promise that even in the darkest of times, God's glory will shine upon His people. It is a reminder that we are not alone in our efforts to bring light into the world.

We have been called to be the light of the world, to bring hope to those who are lost and in need of salvation. This is not an easy task, but it is a necessary one. We must be willing to step out of our comfort zones and reach out to those who are hurting.

As we share the message of the Gospel with others, we can be confident that God is with us. His glory will be seen upon us, and His power will work through us to bring salvation and healing to those who are lost.

So let us heed the call to "Arise, shine" and be the light in the darkness. Let us share the message of hope and salvation with those around us, so that they too may experience the glory of the Lord and enjoy the everlasting life in Christ Jesus.
