Hearing God's Voice in a Noisy World

 

The Bible provides us with a clear understanding of how God speaks to us. In Ezekiel 2:1, the Lord commands the prophet Ezekiel to stand up and listen to Him. Similarly, in Ezekiel 3:22, God instructs Ezekiel to go out to the plain so that He can speak to him. These verses reveal that God desires to communicate with us, but sometimes we must make an effort to hear His voice.

 

Today, we live in a world full of distractions. Social media, technology, and the demands of everyday life can all prevent us from hearing God's voice. However, if we take the time to separate ourselves from the noise of the world, we will be able to hear His still, small voice speaking to our hearts.

 

Let us make a conscious effort to set aside time each day to focus on God, whether it be through prayer, meditation, or reading the Bible. In doing so, we can create a space for God to speak to us and guide us in our daily lives.
